Check out this main level Renovation in North Vancouver, BC! DMC has just recently wrapped up this project and the change is remarkable. This cozy rancher style home in North Van originally had a very closed off and segmented layout with a dated kitchen and bathroom. We opened up the space by removing a wall that greeted you upon entering the home. This now open-concept layout allows the home owners more space to move about and gives the room a less cluttered feel.
The custom built kitchen was completely re done and features our very own version of maple shaker style cabinet doors with chrome bar handles and soft close European hardware. The grand 8 foot island is made with beautiful German made quartz countertop and incredibly roomy drawers and cabinet space for storage. To best utilize the space, we installed deep sliding roll out bins and a custom built recycling bin built right into the cabinetry.
The main area now has an exotically gorgeous 7 inch wide plank engineered oak hardwood flooring that really keeps the home feeling rustic but still modern.
Left of the kitchen, the living room’s statement piece is a golden sand quartzite stone fireplace with a custom rough cut cedar stained mantel to match the flooring.
The bathroom now has a custom built medicine cabinet, German made quartz vanity countertop, and Italian made white waterfall tiles in the shower.
The home owners were gracious enough to send in some photos of what the home looked like before DMC got in there which can be seen below. For more photos and highlights of this home renovation in North Vancouver, click here!
