PROJECT DETAILS
This family wanted to make their dated 80’s Coquitlam home feel fresh again.
We started by modernizing the centrepiece of the home, the kitchen. Our client had done all of her research on Pinterest, and it was fun helping her bring beautiful images to life. Her vision included dark blue shaker-style cabinets with brass accents, a farmhouse sink, a butcher block countertop, and statement pendants. Visual interest and dimension was created by installing contrasting cabinetry, countertops (quartz and wood) and metals. Hidden cabinets with touch-latch doors were built into the island for extra storage.
Before installing the vinyl plank flooring throughout the kitchen, living room and stairs, NOVERO addressed the structure of the home by levelling off the floors. We added a sleek wood railing, stained to match the flooring, to finish off the staircase. Lastly, the two main bathrooms required major updates: Our team replaced all the tile, fixtures, flooring, baseboards, showers/tubs and more—amping up the appeal of both spaces.
