Instead of selling, this young family opted to remodel their home to better suit their lifestyle. Often hosting extended family, a more open and welcoming kitchen was a priority.

The timeless all-white colour scheme is warmed up with elegant finishes like the brushed gold hardware, and rustic details like the alderwood shelving. The countertop is Silestone in Calacatta Classic. The client chose beveled subway tile for more depth, and a detailed hood fan to match the crown moulding. Other unique features include an under-counter beverage fridge with false drawer paneling; an antique-finish nickel pot filler; dramatic oversized pendants, and 12x24 grey floor tile sourced by the client.

This rustic elegance look flows through to the adjacent powder room, echoing the same materials and open shelving.
