How did September fly by so quickly? It felt like yesterday kids were just starting to go back to school! We love that fall is in full swing and our kids are so excited to hit the pumpkin patches.

Here’s a round up of some of our favourite family-friendly pumpkin patches. If you don’t like crowds, consider visiting a patch on a weekday. Many patches are open from 9am-6pm.

And once you bring all those pumpkins home, if you’d like some inspo on decorating with pumpkins of all sizes, see our post on Modern Fall Decor Ideas. Happy pumpkin hunting!

COVID update: Most farms ask that you purchase entry tickets in advance in order to minimize crowding, and to stagger the flow of visitors.

Laity Pumpkin Patch

The Laity Pumpkin Patch has been a family-run business for over the last 30 years. Their 18 acre pumpkin patch is located in central Maple Ridge and welcomes people from all over the Lower Mainland. Over the years their site has expanded to two locations (within the family and across the road from eachother): Laity South and Laity North. The original site, to the north, caters to younger family members ages 6 and under. The newer site is focussed on serving older kids and adult visitors.

There are plenty of attractions at both, with dedicated areas where children can play, visit barn animals, run in a corn maze, play games, drink hot apple cider or chocolate, and more! Laity Farms usually opens at the end of September until Halloween. Visit their site for hours and more details.
