These last few weeks in Vancouver have been incredible. And we’re pretty sure everything has dreamy patios on their mind. Whether you’ve got a massive backyard, an apartment balcony or small courtyard–everyone deserves a little slice of heaven to call their own. Now, this list is here to inspire you (as some of these aren’t attainable in our region + climate), but we wanted to find some truly inspiring and mesmerizing patio designs to get your gears going.
THE CALIFORNIA CLEAN
If you’ve ever seen a celebrity home tour, you’ve probably seen this type of design. When indoor living is extended outdoors with no real definitive transition. All white walls, exposed beams and black trimmed windows make this dreamy patio a casa we could get used to.
THE BOHEMIAN JUNGLE
Inspiration for those of you who’ve always dreamt of living in a treehouse. A raised deck brings this dreamy patio into the forest and the custom seating creates an excellent place for fireside conversation and serious quality time with family and friends. There’s nothing fancy about this, but yet it seems luxuriously comforable.

We just love the simplicity of this space. Keeping the outdoors at the forefront and tying in minimal comfort for all to enjoy. Fluffy bench seating, light wood and a featured fireplace makes this one patio we will dream of for years to come.

We love the simple design yet artistic design of this waterfront patio. Low profile furniture keeps the beautiful ocean view as the pièce de résistance and adds color and intention to an otherwise monotone space.
THE COUNTRYSIDE GARDEN
Traditional is not dead! This outdoor courtyard and garden have us wishing we could be teleported right about now. Imagine sipping martinis, watching the bees pollinate the wide variety of flowers all while the birds whistle a tune when taking their morning bath. Yes please!

Our 7th and final dreamy patio comes to us from the future. Just kidding, this place actually exists! Curved architecture, natural stone and glorious views leave us feeling truly inspired (and maybe a little jealous).
