PROJECT DETAILS
Immediately after purchasing their Pitt Meadows house, this young family wanted to upgrade the interior and reposition the exterior stairs.
The project was completed in two phases. First, we laid down Synergy vinyl plank flooring in Sanibel, which is extremely durable, low-maintenance, waterproof and quiet—the ideal flooring for families, pets and high-traffic homes. (We’ll be returning to add vinyl plank to other rooms). Carpeting, wainscotting, detailed handrails and fresh paint improved the staircase.
Second, we renovated the kitchen and laundry. Our client had a focussed vision based on extensive research. NOVERO executed her vision for the detailed undermount hood fan, arch over the kitchen sink, upper glass cabinets with pot lights, and drop ceiling with crown moulding. Other details include Calacatta marble subway tile as the backsplash, Eternal Calacatta Gold polished silestone counters, and elegant millwork on the island. Unique highlights include the bar featuring a wine barrel and glass cabinets to display glassware; and the butler pantry extension. All these elements truly evaluate the heart of their home to showpiece status. But we can’t forget the laundry room! We love the black dramatic look that our client chose, a high-impact contrast to the lightness of the kitchen.
