PROJECT DETAILS
This 2300-square-foot full interior renovation in Burnaby is a thoughtful, design-forward transformation completed during the pandemic for a growing family. The project reimagines nearly every space with a focus on contemporary living and entertaining. A key feature is the open-concept kitchen and dining area, created by removing a dividing wall and adding a multi-slide door to the deck. A striking Calacatta Gold quartz waterfall island with a contrasting black base anchors the space, surrounded by panel-ready appliances, full-height cabinetry, and custom bench seating. The living room now feels more expansive with the removal of a stair wall, while a modern fireplace flanked by arched bookcases adds character. Unique finishes—including decorative wall paneling, curated lighting, and handcrafted details—enhance the home’s aesthetic. In the basement, a former kitchen is reimagined as a bar with a live-edge counter and glass-enclosed wine display, while a guest bedroom becomes a stylish home office with built-in cabinetry.
