Inspired by the timeless elegance of high-end hotels, this basement renovation completely transformed an unfinished Coquitlam home into an elegant and luxurious multi-purpose retreat encompassing a kickboxing gym, lounge, office, and spa bathroom. A hidden doorway conceals the mechanical and storage areas, while the lounge features a wet bar with custom millwork, arched liquor storage, and a marble backsplash.
The luxurious bathroom is the centrepiece: Calacatta Vagli marble slab walls with dramatic grey veining and heated bench, a hemlock-clad infrared sauna, and walk-in shower with Brizo fixtures. Layered dimmable lighting completes the warm, restorative atmosphere. The office features a backlit display hutch, and smart storage solutions were added throughout.
