This Coquitlam main floor renovation transformed a once-compartmentalized home into a bright, open great room designed for a busy family who love entertaining. The project included a new kitchen, living room, dining area, beverage bar, pantry, powder room, and expansive connection to the backyard.
The biggest challenge was structural: Removing the central brick fireplace, relocating the staircase, and introducing new beams opened the home completely, allowing the kitchen, dining, and living areas to function as one cohesive space. A minimalist palette of crisp white, warm grey, quartz, white oak, and black accents carries that cohesion through every material choice.
