Best Wellness Space in Residential Home: Sprice Basement Retreat
This project means so much to us. Earlier this year it was an award winner at the NKBA Design Competition, and now it’s been shortlisted here at home too. The Sprice Basement Retreat took an unfinished Coquitlam basement and turned it into something extraordinary: a restorative spa bathroom featuring Calacatta Vagli marble and a hemlock-clad infrared sauna, a kickboxing gym, lounge, and an office. We’re thrilled to see it recognized in the Wellness category.
Best Traditional Large Kitchen: Abbey Garden Suite
Inspired by the mature garden beyond the walk-out patio doors, the Abbey Garden Suite flows through a warm palette of rift-cut white oak, sage green, brass, and natural stone. This kitchen is full of considered detail such as the hood fan feature wall, hidden storage, and integrated fridge/freezer columns. We couldn’t be prouder to see it among the finalists of such a popular category.
