Working closely with the homeowners, this large-scale Maple Ridge home renovation’s primary goal was to make the house optimal for entertaining family and hosting large gatherings. Not only did the space need to be warm and inviting, but also it needed to be flexible and flowing.
We installed vinyl plank flooring throughout the main as the ideal option for entertaining guests with shoes—durable, scratch- and stain-resistant floors that look like wood planks. An expansive kitchen was designed with ample storage, balanced lighting, and a generous double kitchen island. The gorgeous Calacatta Gold polished silestone surface is used for prepping, serving and dining. One of our favourite features of this renovation is the bar and glass wine cellar, customized to house the owner's collections. The cellar can be dramatically backlit in the evening.
We worked closely with the owners to realize their vision of some modern glam touches such as gold fixtures, black hardware and luxe wallpaper to dress up select spaces. All four bathrooms were also gutted and rebuilt with custom vanities, marble counters and purposeful storage.
