PROJECT DETAILS
New home owners and newly engaged, our clients bought this North Vancouver home to put down their roots on the North Shore. The interior was vintage 1980’s, so a major update to the main living space was needed to better suit their tastes and lifestyle.
In order to make the kitchen the focus of the home and to make the space more welcoming for gatherings, we removed the wall that closed off the kitchen from the living room. The kitchen layout was reworked to be larger for entertaining guests. The kitchen island became a beautiful focal point with a 4’ x 9’ marble quartz top and blue-grey paint to subtly contrast with the glossy white subway tile and darker wood tones. One of our client’s favourite features of the kitchen renovation is the open wood shelves. NOVERO painted the interior; and installed hard-wearing vinyl plank flooring throughout the main floor for a clean, consistent look.
