PROJECT DETAILS
This renovation reimagined a 1970s home for a busy family of four, highlighting its vaulted ceilings and exposed beams with a mid-century modern aesthetic that blends clean lines, natural materials, and an easy connection to the outdoors—perfect for everyday living and gathering.
The kitchen, the heart of the project, anchors the main floor with walnut and white cabinetry, reeded wood detailing, and a sculptural island. This palette continues throughout with custom walnut built-ins, quartz surfaces, gold accents, and geometric touches. Minimal detailing and rich textures let the materials stand out, punctuated by olive green and earthy tones that nod to the era’s sensibility. Beyond the main living areas, the renovation refreshed the laundry room, bathroom, bedrooms, and staircase. White oak flooring spans the main level, complemented by wool carpeting and a tailored stair runner above. The result is a cohesive family-friendly home that marries mid-century inspiration with modern comfort.
